Resource Personnel

St. Dunstan Parish School understands the many needs and different learning styles our students have. Our school strives to meet those needs as best we can. Students meet with our resource specialist weekly to provide small class instruction and tools to help improve their learning. Our reading resource specialist, Jim Akeyson, teaches grades 1-4 daily, the school’s reading curriculum in a small group setting. Our specialists meet with the principal, teachers, parents, and local school district representatives to establish individualized education programs (IEP) and successful strategies for interventions and to improve learning.
