Student Council Election Schedule 2017
May 17 – Informational meeting at lunch in the 4th grade for prospective candidates (before you decide to run, ask your teachers if your grades are acceptable).
Qualifications for president and vice-president are
- Must be an eighth grader
- Must have a 2 or higher in conduct and effort in all subject grades
- Must have a B or higher in all subject grades
Qualifications for all other offices are:
- Must be a seventh or eighth grader
- Must have a 2 or higher in conduct and effort
- Must have a B or higher overall average
Students running for Team Green president must see Mrs. Calaunan to apply.
May 19 – Applications are due by 3:00pm. Applications must be filled out completely. No exceptions!
May 22– Speeches are due to homeroom teachers and Mrs. Calaunan to be checked and signed. If speeches are not signed, you will not be able to run.
May 30 – Each candidate may put up 3 posters in the hallways. Please check each day to make sure that posters are up in the hallways.
May 31 – Candidates give speeches to student body at 1:45pm in the Parish Center.
June 1 – Primary Elections
June 2 – Final Elections
