Fall Festival County Fair

Dear St. Dunstan School Families,

As you know, our annual Fall Festival will be held on October 18th, 19th & 20th. This year’s “County Fair” fund-raiser promises to be a fun-filled weekend for all our parishioners, their families and friends. This event is the principle fundraiser of the parish each year, and the proceeds help provide a major subsidy to our school.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you, that all St. Dunstan School families are required to fulfill their mandatory hours for the festival, which are 6 hours for two parent families and 3 hours for single parent families. If you wish to volunteer additional hours, please do not hesitate to speak to one of the festival chairs. Failure to complete these hours may affect this year’s tuition status.

When volunteering at the festival you must sign-in upon arriving and sign-out after your shift is completed. Please go to the third grade classroom where Mrs. Pallari, Miss Pacheco, and Mrs. Cordova will be assisting you in this process.  It is essential that you complete the sign-in and sign-out procedure.

In addition, we are asking that each school family donate two bottles of wine or champagne (each at least $6 value) and two (2) two-liter bottles of soda (name brand preferred) on Back-to-School Night, Thursday, September 5.  Please bring these items to the rectory garage, located in the south yard between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. Volunteers will be in the garage to receive your wine and soda and confirm your donation of these items from the school roster. Your cooperation and support is appreciated. Festival t-shirts will be available for purchase at Back-to-School Night, and students who have one will be allowed to wear them to school on THURSDAYS in September. Don’t forget to bring your checkbook (or cash) so you can purchase t-shirts before they sell out! T-shirts cost $15.

We’re looking forward to seeing all of you and your families at this year’s County Fair Festival. Come and try your luck at the games, enjoy some great food (The Asian Food Booth is back!!!), entertainment and carnival rides, stroll through the “General Store”,  and much more. Thank you for your support and help in making this a wonderful weekend for the entire community!
